Property building in Inn at Jackson
This property was chosen because it is located near the White Mountains. Jackson is a very quaint, pleasant community that offers many options for meals, outdoor activities, shopping and other recreational opportunities. The innkeeper was most gracious and clearly stated all instructions, which mostly was, "Have a good time here!" Their motto states that you will come as a guest and leave as a friend. They exceeded expectations. This is a beautiful old house - you can read the website and there's nothing more that can be added, other than the description is accurate. Our room was spacious, well-decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. It is a very quiet location, the overall atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. If staying in a classy old house is more your speed than a chain hotel, then this is where you want to come. You won't be disappointed. The town is a wonderful place to explore, especially the nearby falls. The Inn at Jackson offers a delicious made-to-order breakfast every day in the spacious dining area. Coffee, juice and freshly cooked scones are prepared for early risers. They also offer a fridge and other amenities for those who want to bring their meals in the evening back to the Inn, and we took advantage of that several times during our stay. Special Note: My wife's birthday fell on one of the days we stayed at the Inn, and they went out of their way as a host to celebrate her, including a special candle for breakfast, a card and fresh cut flowers in a vase on her dresser when we returned to our room. I had not prearranged this - they did this entirely on their own. All in all, staying at the Inn at Jackson was the highlight of our vacation travel to the White Mountains this summer. I cannot express enough thanks for the entire staff, especially the Innkeeper. If we come back to this part of the northeast again, we'll return to the Inn.

We've had a lovely time in this cozy inn, and enjoyed spending our vacation there so much. We could really see how much effort and love the owners have put in the inn to make people feel like home. If you watched "Gilmore girls", the inn will totally remind you of the "Dragonfly Inn" ;) We've had everything we needed, and the staff was super helpful and obliging if we had any extra questions or wishes. The Inn is located right in the White Mountains National Forest, so there are plenty outdoor things to do, like hiking, enjoy the beautiful views, water activities on the rivers located in the National Forest, moose tour, and so on. But you can also spend a beautiful time staying in the Inn, as they have a large property with a cute veranda, deck chairs, table games and even a hot tub. I hope there will be many guests in the future who will stay in this lovely Inn and make the same wonderful memories that we've made!

A very charming inn that is deceptively large: plenty of rooms. They have ample space for relaxing in common areas, including a very cozy den area with comfy seating, puzzles, and games. There is also a bar area (BYOB) that has coffee, a fridge, and freezer whenever you need it. The staff, particularly the innkeeper Michele, are very friendly and accommodating. It's in a beautiful location; you can see the White Mountains from the porch, and it's very close to town. It's nice that it's just for adults/couples, so you don't have to worry about loud noises from kids. The rooms were comfortable. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area.

The breakfast was fine! Unlimited coffee and scones, which I liked. A set menu with several options that were basic, and wonderful. I had the omelet one day and the scrambled eggs another and my husband had the blueberry pancakes both days. The choice of breads, cheese for the omelet and eggs and bacon or sausage were all great. It was plenty to get us going for our day of cross country skiing. Our room was very large and very comfortable. There was a charging block for all our devices. The bed was comfortable. We were at the end of a hallway and it was very quiet, which we also appreciated. Definitely met our expectations and then some!

Our stay at „the Inn at Jackson“ was really wonderful - a real oasis of peace in the middle of a mindblowing beautiful nature in the relaxed little town of Jackson! Thanks to the openness of the hosts, Cassie's helpful tips and her super friendly nature, we felt very comfortable from the very beginning. The pancakes at breakfast were also a highlight every morning! In the afternoon we could perfectly relax in the jacuzzi on the beautiful terrace after a long day of hiking. We would definitely recommend the „Inn at Jackson“ and will hopefully be back as well! Many thanks, especially to Cassie 😊 Stefan & Christina
